Main Shaft - 833 - needs replacement.

Check out these pics.

I was having problems with slow, sticky shifts and when we took the case apart, it seems that the main shaft has damaged the input shaft. I need to replace both the input and main shaft. I have found several sources for the input shaft, but NOTHING for the main shaft that all the gears go on.

Anyone know of a source?

Sure did Mopar Man ... BUTT ... can you believe it?? I got the bird out of the shop and 15 mins later the engine was toasted!

http://www.tpigman.com/plymouth/engine2/engine.html

The air cleaner stud fell through the Holley and visited at least 3 different intake valves!

I am going to go with a stroker kit for my 400 block and take it to 470 cubic inches... you guys can follow the progress by clicking on the above link.

I am going to go with a stroker kit from www.440source.com and still researching a roller cam/rocker set. Some nice head work... going to keep the original heads, but port em and put in slightly larger valves.

I will eventually drive it to the muffer shop and add 3" pipes all the way from the Hookers to a "X" pipe and out a set of "machine gun" tips.....

Exciting time for me and the bird....

That sucks, Good luck rebuilding it, I was looking at your link and looks like you have your work cutout for you. It will be nice when you get it done. Here is the link to my site.
