hey guys , great site , question : will a 74 ssp k member fit under a 71 roadrunner , will gain disc brakes and power steering . or wud it be easier to change that over individualy. will have some project pics after xmas

i guess i shud say , is it a bolt up or do i need a welder , cutting torch and a john deere cultivator for material ?

No NO NO NO, These cars are totally different, Actually if you have drum brakes on a 71 you can buy a conversion kit, some only about 700 dollars to convert to disc. I have a 72 and the rotors alone now cost 350 dollars a pair!!! It would be cheaper for me to covert a drum brake car than to rebuild my factory disc brakes!! The conversions are much larger brakes too..

r you saying the satilitte is different then the roadrunner or they changed from 71 to74?

you can not use a 73-74 k member in 71-72 :beer:

In 1973 the front suspensions changed on all Mopars. So no, it will not work, It would be costly and a waste of time to try.
You can use 71- 72 Charger k-Member.
There are many options you can do. Be patient and research all options for the one that best suits you.

it just so happens that i have a wrecked 72 and a 74 charger too. do the rotos off the 74s fit the 72?

You can actually swap over the 73-up spindles,rotors,caliper brackets,calipers onto the 71.Use the 71 control arms and ball joints.You also have to change the master cylinder and the proportioning valve.But it is a cheap conversion.
