UPDATE 1/27 PRICE DROP Group Buy for the NEW 71-74 Dashpad

Post by AZ-Nick » Fri Jan 11, 2008 10:00 am

I am so excited today, I should be receiving the first NEW 71-74 DASHPAD that is made correctly, I have been waiting a year for the engineering process of design and build and corrections to get through. It is not like the ones that are for sale over the internet that are made with a fiberglass frame, this one uses an original 71-74 steel frame......
I can't wait to see how it looks and feel, if they are as good as the manufacture says they are, I will be placeing orders for them.
I will post some pics this weekend if anyone wants to see it......

Are they only going to be available in black? I'm going to need one in T7 Tan.

Are these expected to be less expensive than the JustDashes rebuilds?

I wish I could say I had them or know when they will be coming, but I don't.

Last time I checked with Just Dashes they wanted $800+ for there work, I am unsure if they have come down or gone up with there price but they will need to come down quite a bit to match these prices, it may be high to some but it is a whole lot better than the alternative that us 71-74 owners have.
I am trying to work out a Group Buy with the manufacture to lower it even more.

I did get mine delivered last night at 9pm by FedEx and my wife and I opened the box and unwrapped it, all I can say is it looks great. I will take some pictures today in the daylight and post them here in this thread.
I need to run some errends for a while so it may be late this afternoon when I get them posted, if there is anything specific you want to see, please let me know and I will take a picture of thst part or the pad.....
