Sparton beep beep horn offered on eBay

Post by citroninakron » Tue May 29, 2007 9:37 pm

I had a feeling it was too good to be true. This guy had a dutch auction for 5 Sparton horns with the short bracket. I even asked ahead of time were they marked Sparton. They went for $58 each. At auctions end he emails me to say he made a mistake and only had 2 and the 2 people (out of 4 winners) that paid first got the product. Then he said he would reorder more. I figured (perhaps incorrectly) that they had been out of production for however long (30+ years) and sent him back some fire like how can you reorder a true Sparton? Then the story changed to well it's a real MOPAR endorsed replacement (perhaps from year one). So luckily I did not pay this dude but still have a quiet bird in my barn. Can anybody shed some light on this subject? Perhaps I am the idiot but I think not until I am proven wrong I will roll over and whimper. Thanks in advance - this site RULES.

Like you, I'd assume he's selling the incorrect color reproduction horns, same as Y1 sells
