Parole time is coming up....

Post by 71GTX » Sat Mar 31, 2007 11:59 pm

After 20 years, 10 months and 28 plus or minus a day or two in there for leap years, I will be retiring from the military. April 9th is my last day of actual military service. I have nearly two months of leave on the books that I am selling back in hopes of paying off my trailer, plus some other bills. I will still be tied in with my unit for a while as the medical portion of my disability compensation may take about another 30-60 days to complete. But nonetheless, I am gone!

Congrats on hitting 20 years! What are you going to do when you retire? Looks like you have a few cars to keep you busy in your free time.

I've coming up on 22 years, but 10 of it was in the reserves, so I've got 8 left on active duty. Can't wait to get home from Iraq so I can work on my cars! Will have close to 90 days of leave built up when I get out of here, so I should be able to get some work done on 'em.

As soon as we lock up the house deal, we can leave. We are heading to Jacksonville, Florida. Going from the Arctic to sunny Florida. Gonna be taking the GTX, the 69 Satellite and the 70 383 Cuda, all when the time is ready.
