I think the only ethical and legal way of going about the issue of cloning a car from an existing fender tag/broadcast sheet is to simply clone an existing Satellite body using the correct options/colour combos based on the Road Runner/GTX tags, thus creating an exact replica of the original car.

You would keep the Satellite dash VIN plate in place and register the car as a Satellite. This way you can legally & accurately re-create a rare car that was beyond repair while still keeping it legal & ethically responsible for the hobby.

First, you need to find out WHICH administrator edited your post before you accuse me via PM and I really didn't appreciate your tone.
Second, I suspect Dave edited it. He owns the site and can pretty much do whatever he wants with it. If he feels there are legal reasons to delete a post, I support him in his decision.
