Not to be overly picky or bash anyone, but take a look at this car and list the errors made in restoration. Wow there's a lot.

I make it a point never to criticize another car.I dont think it said anything about being restored.Looks like a decent driver to me!

Agreed, I would definately take it!!!

The things that are "not as original" could be changed if desired anyway. Looks pretty darn straight and complete.

what's so wrong with it? appearantly somebody thought that it would look better with black scoops and marker light bezels...plus i kinda like the grant steering wheels...and sometimes it is just a better idea to add on some mechanical gauges under the dash to make sure everything is okay under the hood.

I agree, I try not to tear apart someone's car unless it's a flipper advertising it as a concourse restoration.
That said, I absolutely love these cars in FE5. Makes me miss my first 71 runner....factory 383 4spd export car (yes and "I" on the fender tag) with only two options, the R11 radio and the N42 brite tips. Of course it had a built 440 by the time I got it!

Ok, I take it back. This same car was on ebay back in December but in Georgia...seems like it's in the hands of a flipper...blast away....

.I worded it wrong.
We did a 71 roadrunner and pointed out what was wrong during the restoration.
So i was doing an example of a 71 gtx.
What is wrong with this gtx if your going to put the car back together.
I wasn't bashing the guys car, I was merely using it as a reference point.

One, the rad.
There is no rocker mouldings on it.
They put the hump in the wrong spot if it is going to be a bucket seat car without a buddy seat.
The decal in the back is wrong, it is in the wrong spot.
The grill is all black,which is supposed to be have an argent silver border with a black grill.
The side marker lenses are black, when they should be body colour.
The hood loovers are black when they should also be body colour.

So it's my fault, I wasn't thinking straight when I first posted.
Am I forgiven now?
