Hey all,
First question: My 74 Road Runner was originally a 318. It had metal plates on the insides of the fenders to help access plugs. My 73 has a plate on one side and a rubber flap on the other that looks like it belongs there. Does it? It's a 400.
The other question: I have a nice rear bench seat but it's a 71 or 72 rear. I need a correct 73/74. Anyone want to swap that might have that? (Ok to put this here moderator?)

I can tell you that the 71-72 rear seats are completely flat, the "bucket feeling" is all in the cover foam backing. Dunno about the shape of the wheel wells though, they might not be the same. However if Im not mistaken, the lower rear interior side panels are the same for 71-72 and 73-74 so i would think the seat core is the same as well!?
I would guess you could just re-cover the '71 seat with a '74 cover....Im sure Legendary Interiors Knows!

I believe that is correct that the rear seat foam would be pretty similar across all 4 years. I know that the foam on the rear seat for Project Blue Bird doesn't have any real texture to it, that the seat covers themselves have some padding in the inserts to make the more pronounced areas. The front bucket seats for PBB are the same way - they came from an original cloth and vinyl interior, which has a completely different padding style for the insert area from the full vinyl I used. It wasn't an issue since the seat buns themselves simply had a recessed area where the specific cover's inset with padding will fit.
