springs
why not just restore them with the hemi package springs form the factory.
or take them to a suspension shop and have them add a leaf to each side

be real sure you want to dedicate to SS springs. If you go to those straight line driving is all they are good for. I have a friend that has them on his. He love the launch, but the handling is all screwed up.
The reason they make the inboard relocation is for tire clearance. You do not have to relocate the springs for anything 275 on down.

I agree on the points about the SS springs. I bought the set of "HP" springs from Mopar Performance for the Road Runner. Should give all around better handing than the tired originals, without the super stiffness and 'just straight line' feel of the super stocks.
Oh, and for the record, on an 8" rim with 4.5" backspacing, 295's will fit without moving the spring.
Here's one of the Project Blue Bird's rears on the Sebring Plus as a test fit:

That's 3/4" clearance to the spring.
