Not much to really say here, these pictures pretty much speak for themselves! Needless to say, I'm very excited!
The interior is painted, as is the trunk.
Inside of the decklid is done as well.
The trunk jams are done, and we went ahead and painted the rear trunk panel and the finish panel between the backlight and the decklid. This is the first exterior panel that we've done!
We put the decklid on and aligned it. It fits very well.
Next we are on to doing the inside of the doors and the door jams. Here it is all masked off.
And that tinted sealer going down. This stuff is so close to Petty Blue it's not funny.
And now for that GB5!
My tires came in on Saturday, so I stopped by NTB today and had them mounted. They look great. I can hardly wait to see them on the car. Fronts are 245-60's, and the rears are 295-50's. I also had them mount a really decent Polyglass I had tucked away on the spare tire rim, just for that "correct" look in the trunk.
Periodic project updates with pictures from the restoration of one of our feature cars.
