Is there a difference between a column w/power steering and a column used w/manual steering for 71 to 74? Thanks.

Yep, different length, but there is an adapter made.....what do you have and what are you going to?

I bought a power steering column and went ahead and bought the power steering unit so I could convert over completely from manual to power. Havent done it yet, but shouldnt be too hard. I have swapped columns before in my last 71, but was power to power. If your just switching from column shift to floor shift or vice versa, just as long as both are power steering, or manual steering.....no issues at all.

I am starting to collect parts for my next project. I want to build a bare bones no option 71 RR 383 3sp. I havent found a body yet, dont care if its a satellite. I dont mind clones but if I get a rr I wont want to change it to a no option bird. Most likely I will be going from ps to manual.
