Found this vintage ad over at the GTX registry. It clearly shows where the factory mounted the spoilers,a lot higher than i thought!

I have a set of those, but I am a little leary of making holes in my fenders for them. Does anybody have a pic of one installed on their car?

front spoilers

I wonder if the angle of the picture on the photo in the ad from the registry is low, even below the level of the car looking up making it appear to look kinda high on the car.

I have a pair to mount but it is a low priority and not willing to drill until I'm sure it's at least close to the correct location.

Weren't the front spoilers dealer installed (shipped in the trunk)? That being the case, there really would be no correct factory location...

I heard that before too. But why would they be dealer installed?I doubt that they would interfere with loading on a transporter.

Anyone put these on a '73/74? Is the angle the same and curve of the fender the same?
