If you were buying a 71/72 Satellite project would you prefer one with or without A/C?? I know people looking for 69-70 models seem to look for non-ac cars?? Is that due to people wanting to put air grabbers on them??
Does having A/C increase or decrease the value on these cars?

wow hard question...my car has a/c, but it isn't hooked up...i'm sure that if it was, the summer would be more enjoyable and people would be more interested in the car if it were up for sale. for the performance minded people, having ac might decrease their interest, but personally i would rather sacrifice 15 hp or so and be more comfortable. is it not possible to retro fit a newer ac unit and have an air grabber??? or maybe even an original style unit? if ur building it for yourself, why not do it how u want?

Well I don't have a 71-72 yet. I was going to buy a 71 Super Bee project with some money left over from selling my house. However I didn't end up with getting enough back to buy the car. So now I might have to end up with a 71-72 Satellite. So I was curious to know if A/C hurt the value on these cars.
I know the firewall is different on A/C cars so people that are building Hemi clones or putting an airgrabber set-up on might prefer an NON-AC car so it would have the correct style firewall.
