I spent 10 years on my rebuild .... and almost 10K this year alone on improvements...

Note to the group... a 470 CID stroker motor is noticible.

Totally awesome car and site and welcome aboard man. You said something in there that gives me an excuse to relate an experience I had when I got my first Road Runner done in '87.

You wrote "The very fact that Classic Mopars are fairly rare makes them that much more valuable!". Truer words were never spoken. Shortly after my car was done, I was picking up my new girlfriend at her house. Her brother and a friend happened to be in the yard working a 68 camaro when I rumbled into the driveway. When I got out, her brother sneered "Aw man, whaddya wanna drive a mopar for??". I asked him if he ever sees other cars like his on the road? He said "Of course, all the time!" I said "You just answered your own question." and went into the house. Ahh, that felt good too.

And, by the way, my first offshore drilling experience was in a Mopar too. :-)

Again welcome, and looking forward to lots of stories.[/i]
