My wifes new car

Post by bandman » Mon Jul 10, 2006 1:02 pm

This is the new car I picked up for my wife on ebay. I was having trouble justifying purchases for my car so I evened the playing field. She had a 73 340 duster when I met her so we are going to do a 360 in this one with all the decals and make it look like her old car. We will probably drive it a bit this summer just so we can look cool.

Congrats! Looks like a nice solid foundation for your (her) project.

Sounds familiar

Justifying expenses, eh? Sounds familiar. My other half has been wanting a TrailBlazer for a while now, so when we refinanced earlier this year (knowing I'd be getting a Road Runner soon) we went ahead and bought her a beauty. For $24K. My car has cost us considerably less than $10K. So far, anyway. I guess as long as I keep it under 24 she's got nothing to say! Yeah...right, lol

Of course, my car will go UP in value...musn't overlook that point!

That thing is mighty clean for that cheap, good buy.
