sheetmetal

Post by 440sat72 » Sat Jul 01, 2006 11:01 am

i am looking for some pieces of sheetmetal. i know that they dont do repros for our cars yet  allthough all the vendors tell me they'll be ready in 2 months … since 2 years!

they only repro stuff i have found are the rocker panels. does anyone here have 1st hand experience with them? how is the quality? how is the fit?

and do you perhaps have any hints where i could get a pair of rear lower quarter patch panels and a pair of trunk extensions?

thanks!

I have an original pair of 1/4 panels for the 71/72 Road Runners. These were the 'less-than-desirable' panels out of Canada. I bought them about 6-7 years ago and haven't gotten to use them. :(

Year One now has lower rear 1/4 patches that are specific for 1971's and '72s. They have a YOrating of 4, which is pretty typical of most reproduction panels. Since I can get away with just this much repair, I think the full 1/4 patches are going to get sold.
