rear sway bar rebuild kits
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a rear sway bar rebuild kit for my 1972 RR? I want to keep the original appearance on the bushings doesn't have to be original material though.
Thanks,
Jeff

I looked for a kit myself and couldn't find any thing. I got lucky and found a nos rebuild kit on ebay and still had to customize some it. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks. Yeah I have not found one yet. You would think Vendors out there would have these already made?

Re: rear sway bar rebuild kits
sorry no rear sway bushings in the energy suspension kit. why would u stick with a stock rear sway when the aftermarket kits out there are bigger and cheap?

Re: rear sway bar rebuild kits
dangina,
I thought there would be a manufacturer out there that would make them. I used after market materials on the front standard sway bar. The other reason is I am trying to stay original as possible. She will hopefully be a beautiful cruiser when she is done. But, I will look at the aftermarket eventually because she will need to be repaired.
Thanks,
Jeff

Those look nice and I'm sure they work better than original, but they don't look stock. I guess it depends on what you want for the final outcome.

Re: rear sway bar rebuild kits
Probably old news but try Dick Ross at Firm Feel in Vancouver, WA. They build most of their own parts that' they sell. All of which they use in their own race cars. Better than original performance but no, they don't look like factory bars.
