I'm pretty much in the same situation. Not such a big deal right now, but in a couple years I'm probably relocating to Florida.

I haven't found anyone who is making a system for B-bodies newer than 1970. Someone who is very good a DIY might be able to adapt the Vintageair system designed for E-bodies to fit 2nd generation B-bodies. I started to take a look at this a while ago but put it one the back burner. Most of the DIY would be in the ducting and registers.

You could take a look at this place : http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalog/

Back in the day, when many cars didn't come from the factory with A/C, there were numerous places installing aftermarket systems. Not many around anymore. I think even Sears!

An E body kit should actually fit really well. The frame rails are the same length, so all the distances should be pretty much the same. The vents all mount under the dash, so that shouldn't be an issue. Engine options would be the same. I think if you substituted the E body control panel with one of their more generic 3 knob panels you could put the control panel in the same place as the stock one.

My 71back in the day had AC and the ducts were under the dash, looked cool and it was! LOL. I think it was a dealer installed job. I think sombody here had one installed on a 72, the car was blue. I think it was a sanden compressor.
