Plug wires?!
Would 10mm plug wires be overkill for a 340? im not sure if i should go out and pick up aftermarket wires ro just stick with 8mm... what do yall think

Re: Plug wires?!
10 mm wires are overkill.
Factory used 7 mm wires. I run 7 mm cut to fit wires from Summit racing. Available in orange to emulate the original wires.

Email the owner ... he's a Mopar guy (on Moparts.com)
and ask his what works for a small block.
People of Moparts rave about his plug wire sets.
I have not tried them but plan to.

Re: Plug wires?!
I'm definitely not knocking the Firecore wires.
Another thing to consider about 8mm+ aftermarket wires is that they won't fit the factory wire looms. You're going to be crushing the insulation to get the them in there which defeats much of their supposed benefits.

Re: Plug wires?!
Rick at Custom Wire Sets does offer small block wires. My buddy has a set on his V6 Dakota even.
Rick can make what ever you want.
My brother has a set on his 440+6 and reamed out the after market looms to fit the diameter of the wires.
