Air Grabber Bubble Repair- Studs

Post by chickendeluxe » Tue Jul 30, 2013 8:40 am

Can anyone recommend a product to repair wallowed holes in stud bosses. Also a few of the bosses are dry rotted cracked. I want to rebuild them.

Who should I buy the stud kit from for the Bubble and the Air Box mount?

Thanks

Couple suggestions:

refill the holes with fiberglass gel and fine chopped glass and re drill

Fiberglass in helicoil's

Glue toothpicks in the holes-

No idea on the stud-kit supplier
4th generation B bodys- there is no substitute.

You can go by the advice of RoadChicken stated. One more thing you can use is a product 9309 which is used in the aircraft industry, basically the same kind of stuff as stated. Contact Wilson Productions for the studs. Exact as the originals. They are the same for the call outs or "boomerangs". Thats how I fixed mine. :D
