Does anyone have an image of the heat exchange part that attached to the exhaust manifold and had the flexible tubing that connected to the underside of the air breather to activate the choke flap for a 1972 Road Runner 400 cu in? I would like to know what it looks like?
Thanks,
Jeff

Pre-heat stove, no relation to the choke system. Air cleaner mounted thermostatic vacuum valve controls the flap in the end of the driver’s side snorkel to draw hot air during warm up. ’72 and up pre-heat stove for the HP manifolds are getting pretty rare, not being reproduced and tend to be pretty rusty if you can find originals. Had to recreate the mounting ears on the one pictured.

Wow, I did not realize it was that big of a piece. Do you have dimensions for it or do you know of a place I can get them? Thanks again,

Again most of them have rotted away by now or removed years ago and likely thrown away, I had watched E-bay for several years before coming across two of them a few weeks apart last year. I have an extra but it’s pretty rusty, heavily pitted and very thin metal, no mounting ears. The one pictured was the repairable one of the two.
