Where do these pieces go?
The 2 sheet metal pieces and the rubber piece came with my '71, loose in the trunk with other junk.
The rubber piece looks like typical splash protection in the found in the front wheel houses. The sheet metal - ???
Anyone recognize these? Get me pics showing where they go and orientation and fasteners?
Thanks.

Re: Where do these pieces go?
Thanks - but - I'm not quite getting the perspective here. Wheelhouse? In front of or behind wheel? Are they splash guards or structural support?
Wondering why they weren't put back in by previous owner.

In the LF wheel well, looking forward under the headlight buckets. More of a structural/stiffening support for the outer rear edge of the front lower valance. The panels were originally painted black, installed after body color paint.

Re: Where do these pieces go?
another couple questions for 72RoadRunnerGTX, or anyone else who knows:
1. back to my first post - what is the black rubber piece and where does it go?
2. on the edge of the splash shield/valance support, what is that material? see pic attached.

Re: Where do these pieces go?
I have some detail photos of my survivor over on moparts. Some of the photos on the first page of the thread toward the bottom should help.

Re: Where do these pieces go?
I don’t recognize the rubber piece in your original post as coming from these cars.
More specifically for the panels on this platform;

Jim, at Detroit Muscle Technologies, makes reproduction seals that are sold with stainless steel reproduction spring clips the secure the seals.

Jim's Ebay listing for the splash shields

Re: Where do these pieces go?
Can I assume you put up that Detroit Muscle pic because one of those seals is the one I asked about, shown in your "inside the fender" pic?
My black rubber piece was included in a box of "leftover" parts - not necessarily assumed to be anywhere near the sheet metal splash shield "panels". To me, it looks more like a front suspension area splash shield like you might see at the bottom of the inside fender well.

Re: Where do these pieces go?
Yes the seal you indicate is part of Jim’s splash shield kit for the ’71-72 Plymouth B-body. The configuration of the splash type shield pictured in your op, looks like nothing I’ve found on these cars.

Re: Where do these pieces go?
Do you happen to know, does the kit identify where each piece goes? I guess I ought to buy it and I haven't been under the car to see what else may be missing, but I'd bet the other ones are also not there.
