Re: 1971 RR gauge cluster removal
its been a while since i took mine out i remember it was kind of a pain seems about as easy to unhook the main harness and pull the entire dash out, however to get mine out i took the radio bracket/wire plugs loose from underneath, then i took loose the heater control from underneath, and pulled the plug off the light and wiper switch, then from the front i took the screws out of the bezel and had to take loose the steering column support bolts to get it out from behind the steering wheel. its been a while but those are the steps i remember.

No mater which way you go,it is a royal pain, and its very easy to break something. So be very careful,I tried both ways, just the cluster and pulling the dash, ended up breaking the heater control, and poking a hole in a perfect $500 ebay dash pad. And as a side thought you have to pull the steering column.
