Crazy folks there took exception to me unbolting this and trying to carry it home with me... the NERVE of some people!
Says it's 1/6 scale. VERY cool!

Nah, I tried telling them how PERFECT it would look sitting next to the '71 RR in my garage... they weren't buying it.

Yes, exactly!
Interesting in many ways, including the fact that it has a Road Runner hood on it. They ended up using Satellite hoods on the real race cars, not RR hoods.

Oh, and to pass along an interesting rumor I've heard... there is one in private ownership that is on it's way to being reproduced. I'm sure the copies WON'T be cheap though!

Afraid that's all I took... I should have made a point of taking one of the dutchman panel. It was way out of scale--too long!
Also interesting that the lower grille has a license plate in it. Whassup with that?
I'll be sure to pass along any photos I can of the new ones being cast as soon as they are shared with me.
