Were they decals or Paint?

That's what I always thought just asking because it came up on Moparts and someone said they were painted.

Larry...you know where I stand on this one.
Every bit of factory documentation states that they are decals. I don't recall seeing an original paint car to verify, but I can't imagine the factory taking the time to mask off and paint such an elaborate stripe.

Thats what I thought also but I have learned to not open my mouth until I make sure. I have a tendency to do that. Hence me having the name Dickhead years ago when I would tell someone that they were wrong even when I was correct way more often wrong and the first to admit if I was.

I don't like to be rude, but it's not helpful to anyone when someone states something based on his/her car (which he doesn't even state that it's original paint) and gives mis-information to someone else trying to make their car correct.
