Has anybody here purchased these headlights? I was thinking of upgrading my lights to these on ebay. Let me know what you think.

At the very least, make sure what ever you go with is either DOT/FMVSS or ECE approved.
I'm pretty sure "euro style lenses" means these aren't, and will piss-off oncoming drivers.
A lot of engineering goes into making headlamps illuminate the road and not emit excessive glare, passing the necessary performance regulations. Most aftermarket lamps are "for off road use only" because the manufactures don't bother with this.

Thanks for the imput,I really dont plan on doing a lot of night driving, but I just hate the yellow lights of the sealed beams. I havent purchased these yet but I will keep looking. Thanks again!

I use this type on my Cherokee. They work well. You might have to upgrade you harness to get full benefit from these. Your stock lights will be alot brighter if you inspect and clean all the connections. replacing the relays can help too. If you don't mind having it not look 100% factory you could re-wire the headlights with a heavier wire and dual relays.
You can find these DOT/SAE on ebay if your worried about that. The main thing is that they are adjusted properly to keep from blinding the cop in the other lane. You can get these with projector bulbs too. They have a definite cutoff of the beam to keep from blinding the oncoming traffic.
Another good thing about these is that you can get them in higher wattages. I got the 55 (driving)/100 (brights) bulbs. But if you do this you have to re-wire or you will melt you wiring. I found that out the hard way.
Did you read the part that says there will modifying in order to get them to fit properly?

I'd stay away from the cheap kun fu lights. I bought a set for my neon well they weren't any better than my foggie origionals, to reall get a good light i had to install the sylviana bulbs. Then the start to leak water, the parking light has green stuff growing in it and i had to drill a hole in the main light housing so the water would evaporate. Junk, but you get what you pay for.I don't know how close your car is to stock but the bulbs are date coded, if that doesn't matter, i'd go to a parts store and get a good quartz glass light from a known brand.

Delta makes some good E-code lights that are reasonably priced. I run these with relays on my 72.
Hella has some conversion lamps as well that are very good quality, but they have flat lenses. Might be an issue if you want a stock look.
Dump the sealed beams for some good regulatory compliant halogens and relays. Junk over wattage lamps not required.

Here’s a diagram of how I did mine. If you have not modified the charging circuit (by-passing the bulkhead connections, ammeter and/or upsizing the charge circuit wiring), I would recommend running the power tap at the alternator post rather than the battery.

I ran a fusible link off the alternator to the relays, then fused off the relays. My relays are mounted on the bottom side of the battery try. It's pretty discrete.
