So im thinking I over paid for my air grabber bubble and door. I paid $500 from ebay. I did not get the air box yet, that guy wanted 300 for that. I was having some trouble with my lap top and I could not get into my favorites, thats where I had all my good stuff. So last night I finally got it taken care of and found all the important links. It turns out that guy was selling the air grabber parts made by stinger. He even used the same pictures as the ones on the stinger site. I would like to back out of the deal I made with the guy on ebay but I dont think that would be the right thing to do. I talked to Artie at stinger and ordered the air box, hinge and the screws to attatch it. Im going to order a switch, the best price I can find on one is $150 That should take care of the more expensive parts for the air grabber, The rest of the parts I will shop around for. I might sell my 6pac setup to a buddy that needs the correct date code for, I sold him the two outer carbs last year, He offered me big bucks for the rest of the setup. Im going to buy a new 6 pac setup because I dont care about the dates. The day my Road Runner (no longer a SSP)
gets delivered Im gonna start to tear it down and see what it needs and go from there.
I'll be posting in the parts f/s when I straighten this all out. The shipper has not picked up yet so I know I will have to wait at least two weeks to see my RR. "The waiting is the hardest part" (Tom Petty). OK, thanks for listening. I will be keeping you posted.

Nice find, I think I saw that car on eBay....I see your from Michigan, are you in metro Detroit? I'm big on keeping my SSP original, but it was all there and sharp when I bought it. If I started fresh with a body less engine & trans, I would clone it too, I can't blame you. :D

I live in Ypsilanti 30 mi west of Detroit half the time the other half I live in North Prairie WI, Thats about 30 mi south west of Milwaukee. I have been keeping busy stripping down the car formally known as a ssp. I am happy with the overall condition of this car. Even though the engine and tranny are long gone the rest of the car is pretty much unmolested. The wiring in the interior is 100% there and uncut. It looked like the door panels were never removed, the plastic was in place and appeared like it was never taken off. I broke one of the rear bumper bolts when I was taking that off. The floors and trunk are rust free as well as the frame rails and the torsion rod mounts. After I get this thing bagged and tagged I gonna start on the body work.
