hello fellow mopar lovers...
Recently my husband coxy72 passed away. His car has been left to me a 1972 GTX RoadRunner. His dream was to have it restored and now its my dream. I have located rear quaterpanels from Year One but they do not carry a full front fender only patch panels. So I ask would any of you know where I could find front fenders (full)? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: need help!!
First, sorry to hear of his passing and your loss.
my sincerest condolences.
Second, Go to the parts wanted section, Parts for sale section and check there first. These cars are tough to find parts for as you will see. Just recently the reproduction items have been hitting the market and the fenders are not one of them as of yet. So checking the swap meets and bone yards is going to be your best bet. Southwestern US, or western US , Canada, for rust free, or the S.E. US seems to have a large concentration of Mopars and these as well. Good Luck, assuming someone here doesn't have a pair to part with.

Re: need help!!
Two pairs of 71 fenders are on Moparts now in the swap section. They are reasonably priced and can be converted to 72 fairly easy.
Sorry for your loss and good luck.
Dave
PS There are better places to get parts prices than YO. Just ask and all here will be glad to help.

If it was easy everyone would do it!
Re: need help!!
Welcome to the Nest! My condolences on your loss.
Find yourself an AMD dealer for the panels you need and forget Year One. You'll pay more buying from Year One. Our own Jeff Brown is an AMD dealer and is an all-around super guy. He's my first choice on AMD stuff. I thought fenders for '71s and '72s were available from AMD? Perhaps I'm mistaken and they're simply still in development. If not, check the parts for sale on Moparts.com as mentioned. I know a guy who goes by the username Flaypaper who has a pair of '71 fenders for sale for $525. They have their share of dents however...
Good luck and don't be afraid to ask questions, we'll all be glad to help! Oh, and post some photos of the car, we love to see pics!

Sorry for your loss.
Wow a 1972 RR/GTX is my dream car, I would love to see a picture of it!
When ever I've needed parts for my 1972 RR I call my friend Jimmy Boros.
charger7172@msn.com
He's the guy that just deals with 1971 and 72 B-Bodies.
What ever you need he will have it or know the best place to get it.
Post your fender tag numbers and I'll tell you how rare you 72 RR/GTX is.
