It will be a lot of work but when the new parts arrive it will start looking like a car again.
This is the tough part seeing it in this shape.

Finshed sandblasting for prep of the interior floor pan and sound deading and paint on the inside of the quarters.
Painting them now will make it much easier when it comes time to paint the trunk.
Alot more sandblasting to do but the floor can be installed.

New floor is now installed, will move on the thetrunk and quarters next.

that's about the most correct looking quarter panel sound deadening I've seen.....very nice!
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

I used Speedliner bed coat and had the old panel in the booth with me to try to match the lines and heavy areas.
I think I got it pretty close.

Alittle more progress this week.
The quarters ,trunk floor are removed and rails blasted.
Will start reassembly thiss week.........hopefully

We now have a almost installed trunk floor. Just a little more welding and moving on to the drop extentions.

And thankfully there's a company like AMD making the parts available for this! There was no AMD making quarters for our cars when we did the bodywork on my RR back in 1988...
