finishing touches

Post by rthrbfishn » Thu Aug 18, 2011 7:23 pm

Paint is done! finally....
It did turn out quite nice.
I am looking for some help finding a good source for quality decals. I need the hood callouts, the 71' wide fender stripes, GTX for the trunk, and the front header decal.

I also need some plastic door trim clips. I found some on ebay but they are too narrow.

Thanks for any input.

I did get about 10 miles on the car. It is running good and strong.

Performace Car Graphics for the stripes, and ECS for the small decals (tire pressure, emissions, etc)

Thank you Eric,
Any idea who has the molding clip?

I am trying to get this thing done for the local Labor Day rod run/car show. I think I might make it!

Check with some of the Mopar specialty fastener vendors like RT Specialties.

Or check here: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/

You might have to buy 50, but if they have what you need they will still be less expensive than most of the Mopar vendors.

Happy hunting

Yeah GREAT color.
Just painted mine and am starting the "finishing touches" myself.
Got all the door, roof, truck seals, and window fuzzies at the Nats.

Will need trim clips as well.

Let me know what U find

Good luck.

Thanks for the compliments, I love the color too. It is getting exhaust today as I type. The black top will go on wed or thurs.

I think RTSpecialties is the place for the clips. $1.50 ea, guy on the phone knew exactly what I needed. I tried the ones listed on ebay. they were too narrow and wouldn't hold the trim.
