71 & 72 rear tail light lens ?

Hello all.
Does the 71 tailight lens fit a 72 without having to change out the entire tailight assembly?

No. 72 has a different Lens, housing, and bumper.

Correct - 71 and 72 bumpers are completely different, although I think a 71 bumper will fit on a 72 car and vise versa.

Good catch Larry! I forgot the 72 bumpers swoop down a bit below the tail lights.
