72 Satellite production figures
I am looking for figures on a triple black 72 SSP 400 4-barrel auto car with console, I dought the color or console matter but I know 72's are rare birds. Any clues.

Re: 72 Satellite production figures
Plenty of '72s were made....but a SSP with a 400 has to be pretty rare, as I would assume most people that opted for the 400 engine, would just get the RR package, or opt up for the GTX which is basically the same car, but with the 440.

Re: 72 Satellite production figures
Hi,
I have an original matching numbers '72 SSP 400-4BBL auto / w/ Slapstik. Engine / drivetrain has been extensively restored and car has been thoroughly inspected w/ all floors / frame rails in good condition. Some L/H quarter panel work required, rust bodywork is limited to some very minor panel patching. Driver door has dropped (hinge replacement needed), but otherwise bodywork is limited to repainting in original Ermine / Spinnaker White / Argent Silver w/ full vinyl canopy. This SSP still has all original badges / interior (although this will be replaced).
The VIN shows my car as a 400-2BBL, but the car had an original TQ w/ spreadbore manifold, which had clearly been on the car from new. This was either factory or dealer installed (but there was unbroken paint where manifold / heads joined). Car has an 8 1/4 diff. More information is here, if interested.

Please post pics of this black SSP if you have a chance....
