Son of a B*#@H it happened again it quit on me. OK I think I am on the right path to fixing it for good.

Basically I believe there is a short in the wiring somewhere and this is based on the fact that I removed the fuse for the gauges...fuel,oil pressure and the car is fine no issues at all when I put the fuse back in the car will run fine and typically will quit after approx 10 minutes of driving.....Is there a resistor or something under the dash that goes bad on these cars....anyone had a similar experience. I am thinking of replacing the wiring but only after I check the gauge to ensure they are all ok. It is a strange issue but at least I can drive her I just have to keep an eye on the gas etc.

Face it, Mike. Your car is jealous of the '71 GTX. It wants to make sure that you only spend money on it, and not the GTX. No, I'm not offering to buy either one to solve your problem. But I wish I could!
