You runner looks great with the hood pins and spoiler to be honest I always thought they were available with them from the factory.
If I had a 73-74 I would do exactly what you have done to yours.....nice

Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.

Look at it this way. If the wing was priced at a grand, and you had the money. What's stopping you from buying it? Are you afraid that you're not going to get the money back out of it? If so, then you're looking at the car and parts as an investment. Instead of something to be enjoyed. My friend years ago taught me there's 3 prices to pay for something. One, the bargain. Which everyone wants. Two, the price you hate to pay because it's high. Then there's that price that you don't want to admit to anyone that that's what you paid for it. But since you wanted it that bad. That's the price you paid for it. I can't tell you how many times I've paid that price in life for an automotive part! Life is short. Enjoy it.

I think there's a 4th price.

A price you know Is too much because Its cheaper somewhere else.

Are you sure that you don't have your wings confused? You ask what a '70 style wing would look like on a '73/'74 RR. The wing on the back of the pictured white RR is a '70 style rear wing! That's not the '71 style.

If you want to see what a '71 style wing looks like on a '73/'74 RR. Type in under search on your computer, 1974 Road Runner, and click on images. On the 4th page of pictures, or there of. You'll see an overhead shot of a bright orange 1974 Road Runner that has a '71 style rear wing on it. Click on the picture, and it'll bring up more pictures of the car. The bumpers are painted orange, and the owner installed rear window louvers on the car, as well as a '71 style C-pillar strobe stripe too. Sharp looking custom. Check it out.

Yeah, that's the same RR, all right. Although this Youtube video doesn't exactly show the wing very well. You must be fairly new to Mopar to not know yet what the two different rear wings look like. If so, welcome to the tribe! Ford offered the '70 style wing prior to 1970 for their cars. Which you mostly saw installed on Mustangs. But their's was available in two versions. The plastic one was mainly for looks. Then they made the same wing all in metal. It was part of their drag package. Just a way of getting a little more weight on the rearend of the car for better tire traction at the drags that was legal with NHRA.

this is 73nohemi the only thing i want to know is were the wings gloss black or flat black? It would look really cool with the gloss black strips on the rest of the car or does it just depend what i want to do with it.

The finish on the wing from the factory was generally satin black. Which has a lttle more life to it than flat black. I've seen them painted gloss black, and they look good. There's guys who even paint them body color. It's your car. Make it the way you want! The person you have to please the most is YOU. You're the one who owns it. No matter what you do. There will be people who like it, and people who don't. That's just the way life is. You know that old saying: "You can please some of the people some of the time. But not all of the people all of the time." That pertains to cars too. Variety is the spice of life. Make the most of it. :)
