Introduction

Post by 72airgrabber » Wed Dec 01, 2010 11:40 am

Just wanted to introduce myself. I just picked up a 72 Roadrunner, original 400 4 speed air grabber car, B5 with a B5 bench seat interior. Currently has a warmed up 440 4bbl, the bench seat was replaced with buckets and a buddy seat. I have a dyno sheet showing 408RWHP and 468 lbs/ft, not bad for a fairly tame 440 that idles well and starts right up without a choke.

I've owned over 100 Mopar "play" cars, including a 440-4speed 72 GTX (mohave tan metallic, radio delete) 440-6 4 speed 71 runner (FC7 with air grabber), 71 Runner GY3 383 4 speed. Also various 440-6, Hemi, 440-4, 383 and 340 Mopars, mostly E and B body cars. I have also owned some more modern mopars, IE 87 GLHS, several turbo daytonas and chargers, and a 03 Viper SRT-10. I currently own the 72 runner and a 2010 Challenger R/T in B5 with a 6 speed.

Nice looking runner. Seems we have similar tastes. I have a B7 71 runner and an 09 Challenger R/T in B5. And I had an 86 GLH turbo in Santa Fe Blue.

Welcome to the nest the problem with owning a roadrunner is that it can become habit forming :haha:

Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.

Thanks for the welcomes. I know about Roadrunners being habit forming, along with the 71-72's I listed I've owned at least another 10+ 68-70 Roadrunners, including a couple hemi 4 speed cars and a 440-6 Superbird. I have plenty of pics if anybody would like to see them.
