1971 plymouth satellite with Red snake skin roof ?

Hey Guys,
I went to alabam the other day to pick up a car , the guy showed me a 73 satellite that he had put back, it was white with white interior and a red snake skin halo roof.
Is that possible ????
And it is for sale !

I thought 1970 was the last year for Gator Grain top and other types of patterned vinyl tops.
I see from this 1972 special it was not so who knoews?

I find that brochure interesting.A77 is a package code for the charger that year?Are there regular pics of that plaid cloth interior?

I remember decoding my plate and something about a special charger came up.

Can't say I've seen red. When I was a kid, mom had a 73 gold duster with a gold gator grain roof.

I had a 74 Gold Duster that sounds like Eric's mom's car. Non-metallic light gold (looked almond/tan) with a tan snakeskin top.

Ive seen a white 73/4 satty with a red top once too...cant say if it was just a vinyl top or gator or??

I seen this one up close with my own eyes.
the pattern was very small not like gator grain i have seen.
oh well ... if i find out more i will notify.
