3 foot breaker bar and 4 foot cheater pipe... plus some liquid wrench. Works every time.

The joints are just stuck in there super tight. I'm going to try a bigger impact, probably with a little heat.

If a pickle fork doesn't work, whack the spindle sideways where the joint goes through. This shocks and deforms the tapered "bond" just enough to let it go.

Impact isn't going to get it done. They require massive torque which means breaker bar and cheater pipe.

update: got them.

I ended up at my buddy's shop where we used heat AND the 3/4 drive impact. The impact is one of the big mammajammas meant for indycar pitlane duty.

we tried a 4' pipe on the end of the breaker, no dice with two of us on it.

Ahhh, you're unscrewing the joint itself from the UCA. Never mind my tips, you're way past that!
