Disc brake Q

Post by Capsule » Tue May 11, 2010 8:20 am

Hi guys,

as I'm restoring my front disc brakes I was wondering what these 'positioner-clips' on the caliper bolts actually do? Are they nessesary? -my car only has 2 of the 4 left btw!

Is it possible to get new ones?

Thanks,

You can get them if you can find a hardware kit for the front brakes, they are a type of anti-rattle clip. Most people I know just throw them in the trash. (my car still has them)

Thanks Elvad,

I'll just leave them out then and see if I get any rattle without them!
