    I AM IN THE PROCESS OF RESTORING THIS CAR THAT I HAVE HAD NOW FOR 18 YEARS. ACCORDING TO GALEN IT IS THE 4TH ONE BUILT IN 1972 NOV. 8TH 1971. AIR GRABBER V21 V25 .WHAT COLOR BLACK SHOULD THE BLACK ON THE HOOD BE I LIVE NOT FAR FROM TOTALLY AUTO. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP. QUESTIONS OR COMMENTA

    Galen lists the cars in his registry so yours is the 4th car built in his sequence of cars in his registry made from a certain plant with a certain engine for that make and model year.
    Production for model each year begings 1 August each year.

    As far a paint on the N96 dome ... I would think Total Auto would know if you called them.
    Also there are lots of guys here who have painted their hood so someone will know.

    the A/G bubble would have been painted organsol black. V21 and V25 would designate hood and decklid stripes.

    Thank you I am going over to Totally Auto this week to pick up the paint you mentioned and other odd and ends. Strange thing is this car came with a 71 roof stripe plus two running birds on each side. Who knows?
