Is there any love for the 73-74 RR?

Post by Blwn00RT » Tue Feb 16, 2010 8:30 pm

Just wondering if any new companies make body panels or inner structure panels for the 73 to 74 Roadrunners now. I am in the process of selling off another project to get my 73 in my garage to start restoring her. Was trying to sell her but can't due to loving the car since it was in my family since 92.

No ones doing anything quite yet. They just came out with all the stuff for the 71-72 b bodies finally so I'm sure 73-74 is probably next in line.

GOOD NEWS !!!! i just recived an Email from AMD
Randy,

We will be making the 73-4 quarters in the future. We’ve located an NOS LH panel and are still looking for

a mint or NOS RH. This will probably be 10-12 months before production.

Thanks for your interest!

I'm glad AMD's coming out with more and more parts. They have the largest variety for our cars that I've seen thus far. I still keep my eye out surfing the internet and ad sections of the Mopar magazines to see what I find from various companies.

Well, I just took a CAD class not too long ago. Maybe I should start hunting this stuff down and making reproduction parts.

Any parts for my 73 are a welcome addition! I sees they are finally reproducing sill plates for quite a bit less than NOS pieces, and I now have a pair. Another thing I would like to see is repro headlight buckets. I just got a price on restoring mine of around 400-450 for the pair....I think I could pick up a repro set for less.....
