LOADED 71 RR on Ebay

Pretty cool:

A/C, PW, cruise and a very cool color combination. The car has some issues for sure, but what a neat cruiser.

That vacuum pump in the trunk though... WTF!?! Probably just needs a new brake booster.

Actually, with a big enough cam, even a new booster isn't going to do it. I'm running a Lunati VooDoo with about 550 lift, and I get about 5" of vacuum. I put a new booster on when I was building the car, so I added a reservoir. That didn't cure it. Added the pump (almost identical set up to how they have the one in the trunk), and I have brakes.

I think the 71-up boosters seem to need more vacuum now that you mention it. Got a buddy with a 71 RR mild cam and he has a reservoir on his.

Never had problems on my 69 Charger with the big Bendix booster though, and it had a moderate lift 240+ @ .050 duration cam in that car. Thinkin' it pulled about 7 inches.

Back to the subject car though. Way cool. Wish it was close to home so I could get a better look.

Barely cracked $20K this time around.

I'd sure like to get a closer look at that car.
