The body line that is different is the detail lines over the wheelwells. These are shaped different in 72 than the 73's and will not match the quarters. If the car needs quarters you may be able to install 72 quarters on your 73 and possibly set it up to use the 72 bumper as well.

I would reccomend using the 72 clip because you will not have to change the marker lights.

I hope this helps

If 73-74 doors are not the same as 71-72 then please explain and show the differences with side by side comparison picts of the 2 doors.

There's no body lines on a 73 door, but there is on a 71 that's the difference.
Just look at the lines on the 71 door and see that the 73 door is without those lines.

I am absolutely at a loss to understand why anyone would want to do this. It's not like putting a rr bulge hood on a Satty or adding a front and rear spoiler. :?

Don't buy it, wait for a 71 or 72.

The 73's and 74's have a better looking front clip.

Basically the doors are flipped.and the shape of the front of the doors match the quarter windows.

I guess with some modification you could pull it off(just like people putting GTO front ends on plain jane lemans)but i agree with SeriousSatellite. Why go this far for a fake?maybe It would be a cool thing just to be the first one to do it(unless someone has done it)but I would try making a grill and light swap work instead of the whole front clip.At least then you could get something different out of it and still have the look you wanted,sorta...

for those talking about the wagon, I have 2 wagons, a 71 and a 73.There is no possible way to fit the 2 door front clip, nothing will line up. the 4 door & wagons have a sharp line at the top of the fenders, lines up with the door lines, also the 2 doors are 1 inch shorter between the wheel lip, and the door. the 4 door hood is longer than the 2 door, Charger fenders are much closer shape wise, but its a dodge., It would take alot of fab work to graft the front end on.
