shifter and linkage

i am putting in a 440 into my 74 roadrunner and my ? is what shifter do i need and linkage will e body linkage work or not and what shifter do i need with pistol grip and console let me know what i need to find and if any interchange and wich shifter and linkage do i need and where do i go to find them car is origanaly a 3 speed pistold grip w console car on the floor thanks pat u can email me at m16king@netscape.net

there are two humps for 71- 74 b-body and three linkages for the 4 speed or 3speed

The short handle pistol grip shifter were used in bucket seat cars with or without console, but without the center arm rest.71-74 b e- body ones and linkages The longer handles pistol grip were used in 71-74 b-body bench seat cars or buckets with the center arm rest. Not only are the handles different, the shifter actually comes through the floor in different places depending on the application,

there no 3 speed pistol grip shifter :lol: 4speed yes
