Re: 72' Road Runner/GTX restoration
Restoration wise, for this car, rebuilding the front bucket seats marks the absolute last step. After reconditioning the frames, replacing the foam and installing replacement Legendary covers they look and feel new again.

First nice day of spring here.

You just reminded me again of the quality difference between Legendary kits and the one's I got from PGI... now I want to cry

Re: 72’ Road Runner/GTX restoration
They are making foam for our seats now? The last time I looked, there was some for E-bodies, but didn't think that would work. Great news if they do!

Re: 72' Road Runner/GTX restoration
I picked up a seat foam set from PG Classic's ebay site a while back. Overall very close to the original, seat bottoms lacked the spring matting and wires that were molded into the originals, pretty easy to recreate a replacement with some burlap and piano wires pulled from one of the left over Satellite back beats.

Some pictures from this past weekend, Edmonds Classic Car Show, Edmonds, WA. Weather was great, 300+ cars however only a handful of classic Mopars.

Found this short YouTube video someone shot of some of the show participants arriving.

Is it me or is the stance on your car just PERFECT. can you give me a centerline of the wheel arch to the ground measurement front and back?

Re: 72' Road Runner/GTX restoration
25 ½" dead on, all four corners. Last measurements were taken when front ride height was set prior the initial alignment. At that time, sill to ground was something like 7 1/4" rear and 7" front as I recall. The car was not yet complete and short rear seats and some interior trim, likely a couple hundred pounds lighter. I couldn't be happier with the cars stance, have heard some crappy things about those Mopar Performance HD leaf springs.

Your fairly close to me. If you are ever interested in making it to Vancouver Island for any of the car shows we have here, hit me up, i'd love to drool over your car and pic your brain

Nanaimo! I don't know about driving the RR up there for a car show but would love to get back up there sometime soon to dive the HMCS SASKATCHEWAN again. Better yet, drive up to Barkley Sound to dive the wreck of the VANLENE again, with it's cargo of 300 72' Dodge Colts.
