I did verify with the Ebay seller that they were AMD pieces, sounded like he was having them drop-shipped from directly from AMD.

I emailed AMD yesterday and received a response today. Alan from AMD stated that they are NOT ready yet and will be available in Feb. '09. They are waiting final approval on test piece.

I chuckled to myself when I read this. I'm guessing Feb. '09 means June of ?????

I'd imagine that ebay vendor will get some negative feedback when his customers find out he's selling something that isn't available yet!

Re: finally full Rear quarters??? (link of the site)
I wanted you guys to know what's going on with the quarters etc... I've been doing the test fitting for AMD on all the 71-2 RR and Charger pieces. We've got one more, hopefully, test fit before they can be released for sale(RR stuff). Quarters, front and rear valances etc.. Hang in there, it'll be worth the wait. AMD is dedicated to making sure each piece is the best it can be. I'll keep you guys informed as to which pieces you can expect to see in the weeks and months ahead.

So you finally let the cat out of the bag here! By the time Gary is done test fitting these items, I'm sure they'll be as good or better than NOS!

ct71rr, I'm in Sharon, and thanks. Eric: I figure you guys have waited for so long, you needed the 'final' word. I know it's hard to plan your resto when the availability date keeps moving. So ignore the rumors...I'll let you know the real scoop on availability right here.. I got to say, seeing new front and rear valances, trunk floors, extensions, quarters, trunk drip rails..even in their 'almost' ready for sale state is awesome. Cat out of the bag? You guys know about the Plymouth Exterior Styling studio?
Two posts in one day...must have snowed here today

Well geez, the 73's and 74's are now the ugly red headed step children of the restoration world. . .
but it is good news on the 71's and 2's.
