Is it really cracked?Or is it just rusted badly?.If its cracked, depending on location, check the car over very, very good,it could have been in an accident, ive never heard of frame rails just cracking.(Unless its a 71-72 plymouth deal,)If everything else is fine im sure the crack can be fixed. And when you say the car is finished, what do u mean?Is it a project?

Help
Can you post some pictures of this crack?
IF the frame is not BENT anywhere else, I'd say yes. You can weld in a frame rail cap. But the thing of it being cracked has me curious/suspecious.
I'd make sure nothing else isn't bent on it before welding a cap on it.
