Just download fire fox.END OF STORY.

Whats wrong with your comp isnt even virus/spam related,no need to load your comps memory with stuff you dont need,if you already had virus/spam protection its obviously been working,or youd be having worser problem.

The same thing happens to me when i use internet explorer, its the browser .Its sucks.

Again, is it really "FREE" because I can download it, no problem, but then if you want it fixed then it cost you. Thats the catch of it all.

What do you mean "fixed"?
Firefox cant break.. ,but if you do end up having problems, which i highly doubt you will, just uninstall and re install it.

I can install the programs, no problem. The program will run and do its thing. Lets say it comes up with 1 thing wrong. The program says you have this wrong but in order to fix it, you need to purchase it. In other words, it analyzes the problem but wont fix the problem until you purchase the program. That is what I mean is it really "FREE"?

Fire fox isnt software, its totally free, you wont have to purchase anything.
When i first downloaded it i was uneasy about that type of stuff too.its totally fine. You can even download updates and patches to help your internet surfing safer, and more conveint.Like with sites like myspace, sometimes there coding is messed up,but with firefox you can view webpages with absolelutly no html at all. :D

Go do yourself a favor like I did. I have a few PC's and now switched to a Mac's and love them. Never a problem ever. Don't even run anti virus or spyware programs!! Fast,Fun & headache free. Ohhhhh I still us the PC's only when I have to. But getting fewer and farther between. :D
Agreed. In fact, I would say Macs are like Mopars; often shunned for unknown reasons because they're different, until the consumer actually uses it. Sure they cost more, but how much is a headache worth? How much is your time worth when you can't find a driver? Is it really worth it to have to reinstall an OS every few months just to get back to Square A? PCs are just like Chevy 350s: moderately fast, but not the best build quality or components, but parts can be had inexpensively, so everyone flocks to them out of sheep mentality.

Microsoft are major failers.

I have a computer that when i occasionally put a certain type of dvd disc in my drive to burn,it gets the blue screen of death.lol..Why?

because of the cpu setup.

My Xbox 360 gets the Red Ring oF Death..Why?

Because of the CPU setup!

but i managed to fixed that, now i gotta fix the over heating.

And just like the cars, they came stock okay, but you can always make them better.

How do you get this when you downloaded it from the site? So the bottom line is the downloads arent "free" at all, just a waste of time?

You are right, and sometimes I run into the same problem, but you have to read the reviews about what you are downloading, they usually tell you to fix anything you have to pay so you just go to the control panel and uninstall the program that you just downloaded and installed.

For some reason, in the Windows world anyway, not much that is free is anything more than a crippled trial version that expires and/or doesn't really fix anything, just tells you there is a problem... but then God invented BitTorrent and although life wasn't perfect, it was good again. For you Windows guys, I recommend Azureus. For you Mac guys, it's all about Transmission. Oh, and you should get to know the real torrent sites from the bogus ones.

Azureus Vuze (formerly Azureus) is a BitTorrent client. Like other BitTorrent clients, it is used to transfer files via the BitTorrent protocol, a mechanism for peer-to-peer file sharing over a network. Azureus is written in Java programming language .

In 2003, the core developers of Azureus formed a company called Vuze, Inc. (formerly Azureus, Inc.) Vuze, Inc. offers legal downloads of content over the BitTorrent network, some free and some for sale and protected by WMV DRM.

The program's logo is the Blue Poison Dart Frog (Dendrobates azureus). The Azureus name was given to the project by co-creator Tyler Pitchford, who uses the Latin names of poison dart frogs as codenames for his development projects.

Azureus was first released in June 2003 at SourceForge.net, mostly to experiment with the Standard Widget Toolkit from Eclipse. It is now one of the most popular BitTorrent clients.[1] Released under the GNU General Public License, Azureus is free software, though parts of the recently added Vuze platform carry more restricted licensing terms.

How is downloading this going to solve his current problem? :?

Or just go to staples and buy a legit, registrable software that is legal(you never know what your downloading from the internet). And if there are problems, call the company from the number on the box.

But thats not the problem,if it was a virus he'd have more than just online issues.hence the name "Virus".
