It would be easy to cut them, then you would have to polish the sharp edges. they would be prone to breakage unless you used a thicker glass or you could get it tempered. I know because I made some round ones for a 71 that my buddy was customizing in the early 80's. I ended up using Lexan, after he chipped one the first week.
