Rev, RH is satellitesebring,RL is satellite, RM is roadrunner, RP is sebring plus and RS is GTX in 1971. The code I'm talking about is on the fender tag 3rd line down on the tag and tells you where the car is built for

U is USA built specs and C is Canadian built specs and I is international. My car was built in Canada for the USA build specs does not make it an export car, it has to have the I for export.

are you refering to the U on the vin ? RS23UR1 . if so it is 440 not USA

Yeah,the U doesnt stand for the engine,the engine number is 3 digits i think,a letter for the sci of the engine,then two numbers describing carb setup/special options
