I have a near mint Craig PowerPlay cassette with the Power booster. Take my portable CD player and tape adapter and crank it up.
I still have my dad's RadioShake CB and magnet antena.
All in a box waitin for the right time to start that project.
Sounds like this board likes to Rock. Is anyone else TIRED or the same old Do Whop at cruises?
I mean I'm 52 but listen to Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Joe Bonammassa or King Crimson, Liquid Tension and G3.
The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Monster Mash type songs are OK but in the 70's we listened to Led Zepplin, Jeff Beck, Ted Nugent, Neil Young, Yes, The Who. Traffic, Mahavishnu Orchestra. Never hear that at the car shows or cruises but that's what was blastin in our cars in the 70's. I could go on & on.
Off soap box for now.
I like my car and my music LOUD!

I'm a huge classic rock fan, but I will confess I like some new stuff. I like some techno/rave music. I like Korn, Rob Zombie, a few Marilyn Manson songs (Beautiful People come to mind) and others. I guess I like hard, edgy music with a slightly evil twist. Hell, I even like bagpipes and Irish music too, go figure. I suppose it depends on the mood.

I'm 51 in April, and I know what you mean. Do Wop was okay at the high school hops, but when you were cruisin' for those stop light to stop light street races on Center Street, you had the old LED ZEPPELIN, Nugent, and Thin Lizzy going.
(hell the only time I ever had the Bay City Rollers in my car was when I was going to the drive in to get . . ..lucky in the backseat. . .the girls did like the Rollers. ..

It was EXACTLY like the movie, DAZED AND CONFUSED. A classic representation.
